6 months later I finally starter again my Sabrina. I'm an accountant and our year end is March 31st 2010. So I've had a very busy couple of months and kind of moved my stitching to an other room and forgot about it.
This is what I've done in the last few days. I have to do the flowers near the hands and then I'll be in the dress.

More on Sabrina
I'm so busy at work theses days that I don't really have any time left for stitching. But, here some little progress. I find it weird that the pattern calls for dark brown hen on the picture it appears like black. The beads are black... but the DMC floss is brown... weird... But I'll follow the color code and use the dark brown...

Beautiful Week End
Yesterday was the best spring day ever! It was so warm I went for a bike ride in a T-Shirt and shorts. Never seen this before. Amazing! I might even got a bit of a sunburn. The usual temperature for this time of year is close to the freezing mark. Today, probably the same temperature! Yippy!
Here some of my latest pictures. I bit more progress on Sabrina. I also took a picture of the Sabrina Floss & Bead Box. Lots of stuff in there.
Happy Easter everybody!

Easter is almost here
Easter is almost at our door. The snow is all gone and I can see the tulips. Here in Ottawa we have the Tulip festival in May. It's all around town but mostly near the downtown core. Here what it looks like (in previous years):
Ottawa's tulip tradition started after the Second World War. The Dutch government and royal family donated over 100,000 tulip bulbs to Canada as a "thank you" for the generosity and help of Canadians during the war. Each year, the Dutch royal family still sends 20,000 bulbs to Canada. Ok, to know more you can visit www.tulipfestival.ca.
Back to my Sabrina, here are some updates. I've finally started her face. I made a small change : her eye will be blue! Like mine!
Maybe I'll advance more on the Easter long week end.
